The Ambrela public beach is located in the tourist zone on the Verudela peninsula (at the Brioni Hotel). It has been awarded the Blue Flag for its management and the exceptional quality of the sea. The beach is pebbly with shallow access to the sea. It also has access for those with disabilities, and due to its configuration (pebbly and natural entrance to the shallow sea), it attracts a great number of parents with children.
On the beach there are also showers, a toilet block, changing cubicles and the possibility of hiring sunshades, sun loungers and pedalos and other equipment for sport and fun by the sea. Right near the beach there are two catering outlets with terraces and a large car park.
There is a floating line in the sea defining the limit of the bathing area, and for safety, a rescue service watches over swimmers from 10 am to 6 pm.
For those who do not want to spend the whole day in the sun, they can find a place several metres from the shore, under the thick canopy of pine trees that offer wonderful shade.
